Tonight's Picks

Wisconsin (-12) over Penn State - Historically, the Badgers have been nearly unbeatable at the Kohl Center, and this year is no different as they enter today's game with an 11-0 home record. It was just three weeks ago that Penn State was toasted by the visiting Badgers, so expect this one to be another laugher. Senior PG Trevon Hughes has been dynamic this year for Wisconsin averaging 16pts and 5reb and establishing himself as one of the premier go-to-guys in the Big Ten. He'll go head-to-head with the blur that is PSU guard Talor Battle who has exactly zero players contributing around him this season.  These Nittany Lions are a far cry from last year's squad that cut down the NIT nets.

Pittsburgh (+2.5) over Seton Hall - The lone Big East tilt today features two teams with contrasting styles of play. Seton Hall averages 85PPG and features one of the leading scorers in the land in Jeremy Hazell. Pitt is a small team, averaging 68PPG, and they're supremely focused around team defense and a balanced offensive attack. No doubt Seton Hall would trounce the Panthers in any 'who's more fun to watch' competition, but it's Pittsburgh who owns a 5-1 record in the Big BEast and will push it to 6-1 after today.

Northern Iowa (-5) over Indiana State - Last I checked Larry Bird wasn't suiting up anymore for the Sycamores, and Northern Iowa is the class of the mid-majors this year. The visiting Panthers won't have any trouble with 11-8 Indiana State. The guard-laden Sycamores will struggle down low all day, with a NIU front line that features 6'8'' Adam Koch and 7'0'' Jordan Eglseder. Northern Iowa by at least 12.
