Tonight's Picks

Purdue (-15.5) over Penn State- Hardly anyone has played well when visiting West Lafayette this season, and today should be no different. Talor Battle and his 19PPG will lead the Nittany Lions to Mackey Arena home of the Purdue Boilermakers and their 10-1 home record. The three pronged attack of E'Twuan Moore, Robbie Hummel, and JaJuan Johnson will be far too much and Purdue will hand Penn State their 9th straight Big Ten loss.

Arizona (-3) over California- Freshman Derrick Williams is quickly becoming a star for the Wildcats. He'll look to post his fifth straight 20 point effort today when they host California. The Bears are led by scoring guard Jerome Randle who averages 19PPG. This game pits the top two teams in the embarrassingly weak Pac-10 conference which may only put two teams in the NCAA tournament. 'Zona will push there win streak to four games as they crank up their level for a postseason bid.

Maryland (+3.5) over Clemson- This one will be more exciting than the Pro Bowl. Guaranteed. Maryland has won four straight, while Clemson has fallen into its usual mid-season slide dropping three in a row. Don't look now, but the Terps are in first place in the ACC and are playing their best ball of the season led by senior combo guard Greivis Vasquez. It pains me to champion such an arrogant prick, but the kid can flat out play averaging around 18PPG and 6APG on the year. They'll head into rowdy LittleJohn where the Clemson Tigers are 9-2. 'Terps win...Tigers continue to slide.

Wednesday: 0-3

Overall: 53-49-1
