That right there is the handsome looking Andy Katz, as the ESPN.com senior writer toured the newly renovated Pit on New Mexico's campus.

The Pit, a college basketball venue we're quite fond of, has been the scene of some memorable NCAA Tournament games, but was in danger of losing out as a  recurring selection site after being deemed outdated and behind the times. Luckily, it's getting a major facelift thanks to $42 million in revenue bonds funded by athletics, and an additional $16 million in state funding.
