Maryland @ Villanova(-5.5): Take Villanova- An odd point in the season for a big time non-conference tilt, but as UCONN and Texas showed us last week, these games make for great theatre. The Wildcats always have top flight guards, but this year they have a low post presence with Mouphtaou Yarou and Antonio Pena that can bang with big forwards like Jordan Williams.
Georgia @ Mississippi(-4): Take Georgia- Home teams in the SEC have lost four games in the last week, that's why we like Georgia ATS as they head into Mississippi. The Bulldogs rising star Travis Leslie had a breakout night (21/13/5) in a loss at Vandy on Thursday night, but the key for this team advancing to the NCAA tournament could be the consistency of third leading scorer Gerald Robinson (18.5PPG in conference). Georgia has proven it can beat teams with top tier talent (UK) and they've also proven they can win on the road (GT).
Illinois @ Wisconsin(-5): Take Wisconsin- The Badgers, 9-0 at the Kohl Center this year, may have the best scoring point guard in the Big Ten in Jordan Taylor, no offense to Demetri McCamey, the best passer in the Big Ten, of course. The Badgers always appear with a great point guard every few years or so that doesn't get the deserved press (Trevon Hughes, Devin Harris), and Taylor is one of those. Illinois struggles in their loss to Penn State came in allowing second chance points, and they'll have their hands full again tonight against an aggressive Wisconsin team looking to avenge their 1/2 loss at Illinois
San Diego State @ New Mexico(+1.5): Take San Diego State- The Lobo's have lost just one game in the last two years at The Pit, but Steve Alford's team is not on the same level as Steve Fisher's bunch. The Aztecs are the 7th most efficient scoring team in the nation and their two stars Kawhi Leonard and Malcolm Thomas are playing at an extremely high level right now. Aztecs steal one of the toughest road wins in college basketball.
