So last night the students of the NAIA's John Brown University celebrated the first made basket of the season by hurling toilet paper onto the court. It was a complete whiteout; one that earned the crowd the most admirable of technical fouls. But poke around the web and you come to find out this TP toss has been a school tradition for nearly 30 years. The Internet is at least 15 years old; YouTube at least six, so why is this the first time we're hearing about something so awesome? How come it took until 2011 for the blogosphere to eat this up? Someone: an answer please!
