Tonight's College Basketball Picks

Syracuse @ Villanova(-4.5):Take Villanova- These long time rivals are two of eight Big East teams in the latest top 25 rankings. It's been a tough sledding for both teams in the Big East all year, but tonight's tilt is advantage Villanova.  Last time the two met, Villanova lit it up from beyond the arc as the Syracuse D was chasing around shooters all night. Neither team has played up to par lately, but we're putting stock in the home court favoring the Wildcats.

Valparaiso @ Green Bay(+1.5):Take Valparaiso- The Crusaders are 11-4 in the top heavy Horizon League, sandwiched in between Cleveland State and Butler. His peers Norris Cole and name-that-Butler-starter get much more press than he does, but Valpo's 6'2'' guard Brandon Wood can fill it up. He averages over 16PPG on 48%FG shooting. He missed the last matchup with Green Bay, a Valparaiso 2-point loss, and will be looking for revenge tonight in the tundra.

Oklahoma St. @ Kansas(-17):Take Kansas- A Tyshawn Taylor suspension could be a blessing in disguise for the Jayhawks. Taylor's absence means ballyhooed freshman Josh Selby will get the start. The rook has scored just 8 points in 33 minutes over the past two games and he'll need to step up tonight. This one's at The Phog, and the Jayhawks will roll.
