Last night Butler's Matt Howard became a bloody mess after UIC's Paris Carter said hello with his right elbow. Howard fell to the floor, and sent all of Hinkle Fieldhouse into a collective gasp as he rose to his feet looking like what you see below.
Naturally, we went Google Image searching for comparable messy faces in college basketball, including one photo of the Phoenix Suns' Steve Nash because, well, he seems to be totally cool with getting bloody.
