Good stuff coming down on the wires this evening, as both sides win here with this TV deal. The CAA gets a bump in exposure by latching on with a sports network that appears to be headed in the right direction, and NBC secures its second deal with a top-flight mid-major to broadcast both football and basketball. With the CAA joining the Mountain West on NBC Sports roster, I'd bet the peacock makes a move to acquire rights to broadcast Missouri Valley games when that league's contract with ESPN expires in 2016. If so, they'd boast rights to arguably the three of the four best (WCC) non-BCS conferences in the country.
