Let's all touch each other... NORTHERN IOWA just won at the buzzer!
Broadcast in stardard definition in our neck of the woods, today's Creighton - Northern Iowa match-up was a quintessential Missouri Valley conference game.
Mistakes were minimal, as the two teams combined for only 13 turnovers and no team held a lead greater than five. To top it off, it ended on a buzzer-beater; an upset buzzer beater.
That's Anthony James pulling off the ultimate rebuttal of the Blue Jays' Antoine Young, who tied the game on his own three pointer with just 4.6 seconds remaining.
James didn't panic. Instead he took the inbounds pass, drove down the court and nailed a step-back three in Doug McDermott's face as time expired.
The Panthers may be a sub-.500 team right now, but today's win gives them any extra confidence needed when they face the MVC #1a team, Wichita State, on Wednesday.
Let's all touch each other: FLORIDA STATE just won at the buzzer!
There's been a number of teams this season that get that big win, get their fans hopes up, only to then get complacent and get beat in the following game.
Florida State isn't like that.
On the heels of drubbing UNC last Saturday, the Seminoles stayed focused by beating Maryland on Wednesday, and kept letting the good times roll by capping off one of the greatest weeks in program history by downing Duke, at Cameron on this Michael Snaer buzzer-beating three-pointer. The win also snapped the Blue Devils 45-game home winning streak
Surely Dookie fans are lamenting the loss, but anyone watching with no true allegiance to either team will probably tell you this was one of the best played games of the entire season.
Despite being 0-2 against the Ivy League this season, FSU is 4-1 in the ACC with wins over the two toughest opponents on their schedule.
What a win for Leonard Hamilton's club, and what a night Snaer will be having upon his return to Tallahassee.
Let's all touch each other...BUTLER just won at the buzzer!
OK so there was one second remaining on the clock, but the Bulldogs pulled off yet another frieken dramatic, come-from-behind victory on national television. This time it was on an Andrew Smith put back, as Purdue failed to box out the big man following up a shot.
Following the win, Brad Stevens looked as though he just finished eating a very forgettable turkey sandwich. This guy must be so desensitized to heart-pounding situations, he'd be the first guy I'd call to defuse a ticking time-bomb. He's freakishly unflappable.
Let's all touch each other...INDIANA just won at the buzzer
This may be the best college basketball viral video of the year.
Oh to be in college again.
Let's All Touch Each Other...WASHINGTON just won at the buzzer!
It doesn't get much better than this. An overtime buzzer-beater in the Pac-10 finale, with none other than Gus freakin' Johnson on the call. Here's reason No. 389 why we love March:
Let's All Touch Each Other...PRINCETON just won at the buzzer!
Deadlocked after 14 conference games, Princeton and Harvard put on a show for the Ivy League title on Saturday. And with 2.8 seconds left, a brilliant (awful pun intended) Doug Davis shot fake cleared the way for this buzzer-engulfing heave. Madness ensued. Here are the moving pictures:

Let's All Touch Each Other...WISCONSIN just won at the buzzer!
It was every bit as phenomenal as it was gut-wrenching. To the casual observer, Wednesday's Big Ten showdown between Michigan and Wisconsin produced the equivalent of highlight heaven. But to Michigan fans, this shot was more than just a dagger. More like an atomic bomb, really.

Let's All Touch Each Other...UTAH just won at the buzzer!
The Utes had lost their last nine games at The Pit, but emerged victorious against New Mexico last night in dramatic fashion. Chris Hines stepped up, may or may not have called "Bank," and nailed the game winning three-pointer as time expired.
Utah still posts a sub-500 conference record, so the win doesn't propel them into any sort of at-large discussion. But for the Lobos, they're now going to need to win the Mountain West if they want to be part of the field of 68.
