Scottie Reynolds returning to Guard-centric Villanova

Great news for Villanova fans, Scottie Reynolds is coming back for his senior season.  This immediately makes Jay Wright & Co. as a viable contender for a second consecutive trip to the Final Four.  Remember this team has an elite crop of recruits coming in, often lost  in the ubiquitous coverage of the John Walls, Daniel Ortons and DeMarcus Cousins of the world.

'Nova will likely start Reynolds and Corey Stokes in the backcourt, with Dominic Cheek as my very early frontrunner as the other wing starter.  Freshman Maalik Wayns will likely back up Reynolds, with Corey Fisher (the nation's best sixth man-to-be) also coming off the bench.  Throw in budding star Reggie Redding, who showed his potential back in March, and this team bears a striking resemblance to the 2005-2006 edition of the 'Cats...heavy on guard play.
