Tonight's Picks

George Mason (+7.5) over Northeastern - Both teams are playing hot right now, so look for this Colonial matchup to actually remain close. George Mason has taken six out of the last nine meetings between the teams, despite a one point loss in last year's matchup at Northeastern. This undersized George Mason squad has played top 25 talent close this year (GT, VILL) so look for their quick guards and wings to pose problems for a bigger, slower Husky front line.

Penn State (-2.5) over Michigan - Also known as Talor Battle vs. Manny Harris; Michigan has not fared well on the road this year (0-3), and Penn State is at there best in Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions have to come out strong after back to back Big Ten losses, so expect a loud whiteout crowd at the Bryce Jordan Center tonight and a spirited performance on the defensive end. Harris always gets his, but if Penn State can contain DeShawn Sims, they have a great chance at getting their first conference win.

Murray State (-11.5) over Tennessee State - While it may be hard to focus on the BCS championship game with this Ohio Valley contest on tap, rest easy fans, Tenn St. has no chance. With six players averaging at least 9.5 PPG, the high scoring Racers will put this one away early. The struggle for Tennessee State (3-12) this year has been defense, allowing an average of 76 PPG.
