Last night Murray State clinched the Ohio Valley Conference regular season crown and extended the nation's longest winning streak to 16. But nobody really gave a crap, because the Racers sixth-man Isaiah Canaan got on his knees with the shot-clock winding down... and banked in an improbable half-court shot. No really, it happened. ESPN's First Take was all over it this morning.
Despite the OVC being a low 2nd tier conference, Canaan's circus shot suddenly gives the Racers - a 60 percent true shooting team with seven players averaging 9.8 or more points a game - some deserved attention.
